  As you are no doubt already aware this year is the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year and I am delighted to be able to tell
  you that Chenies has been selected as an official site for one of the Diamond Jubilee Beacons that will be lit on
  Monday 4th June.

  To celebrate this unique event we have formed a committee and are in the process of organising a day of celebration
  in  Chenies, this looks like it will comprise of several different events and attractions designed to bring us as a village
and  our neighbours together to have some fun and celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
