Our Mission Statement "To know Christ and to make Christ known - through personal discipleship - through action in the community - through committment to our Church"

St. Michael's is in the Diocese of Oxford, the Archdeaconry of Bucks and the Deanery of Amersham. There are two Churches in the parish, the other being St. George’s, Little Chalfont. The parish is part of the joint benefice Chenies and Little Chalfont with the parishes of Latimer and Flaunden. Our patrons are The Duke of Bedford and Lord Chesham.

Our church community comprises around 80 to 90 people who meet to worship each Sunday. Services are 8am, 11am and 6pm. We also have home groups, close links with St. Georges and enjoy a close relationship with other churches in the “Chess Valley Churches Together” group that includes Chenies Baptist Church at the other end of the village (well worth a visit) and the Methodist and Roman Catholic Churches in Little Chalfont.

We do hope that you enjoy wandering around our lovely church. Please take a few moments to sit quietly and be still while you are here. Christians have worshipped here for over 8 centuries and it is good to consider the spiritual dimension of our church and to ponder your own walk of faith. This is a place of prayer – a place built to the glory of God in the name of Jesus our Saviour. We certainly pray for you, our visitors, that your faith may be strengthened, that your pilgrimage may be in peace and that your journey may lead you to Christ.

Revd David Allsop
Rector
